The Ministers Relief Fund is a Colorado 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which helps ministers and families who are facing an unexpected financial crisis.  While the initial focus of the fund was for retired ministers who may be facing financial difficulties, the scope of the fund has been expanded to include Christian pastors or ministers that may need assistance due to an unexpected crisis situation.

     The typical size of a church congregation in America is under 100 members, and this often means that funds are limited to assist the pastor in the case of a financial crisis or emergency.  Ron Johnson has experienced first hand some of these difficulties when he served as a pastor.  His vision for this fund is to be a nondemoniminational resource and ministry to Christian pastors.
